This session was taken in an old agricultural building at our local fairgrounds. I was asked to create a photography display there this fall and when I walked into the building I fell in love with all of the natural window light coming through, the old wood floors and the half-circle shaped windows that went all the way to the floor. Of course they don’t just “let” you come into these buildings out of season, but I did a lot of begging – and got my chance! I took my senior rep, Paige with me to do this. The session was lit only by the window light coming through – which made it a bit trickyWe changed outfits 4 times and had local stylist, Kendra Alcala come to do hair/makeup. I wanted to give the processing a little “vintage” feel to it, a little outside of my comfort zone…but I really love the way it turned out. I hope you do too!
